How did we come about our existence?

It all started in 2004 when Goel'e and I were given the opportunity to become purchasers for the art gallery and picture framing department in a family operated upscale furniture and decorating business. We went around to different trade shows, looking for exclusive pieces of art. After we gained knowledge and became familiar with the market, and gaining very valuable sources of highly famed artists, we started a small business of our own in addition of being the buyers for our family business. Eventually our business expanded and we launched our own gallery. For some reason we became very involved in decorating and specializing in artwork for children’s rooms. Since our customers were looking for more reasonable pieces because they felt that children’s rooms need to be more competitively priced, I got down to work and began researching more economic ways of sourcing childrens room art.
About two years ago, I came up with the idea of reproducing the art on fine quality select wood backgrounds, thereby creating a product that is very dainty and economical, since it does not require expensive framework.
Our quality wooden plaques with the authentic European designs were an instant hit. Clients from different specialty boutiques are requesting our products for their shops.
Joel came up with the idea that in order to expand our horizon, we shall start marketing our products on-line. That’s when Rockawallbaby.com was born. We are very pleased with the response of our customers that are flocking to our site and giving us the opportunity to expand our line and offer a much larger selection of fine quality children’s rooms’ creations of art.
